While studying with us you will be working on clients and will have the chance to progress to our amazing tailor made So Studio private Beauty Salon; under the direction of our expert tutors. In this fun and exciting environment you will get to work on a wide variety of customers, this is the ideal way to begin your new beauty therapy career. You will be trained to be salon –ready. You will develop key skills such as taking bookings, meeting & greeting clients, consulting and providing a wide range of beauty therapy services.
We at CIBHT take your course investment seriously. Our great value for money course price is very competitive. We have designed an easy to use monthly payment plan options; our accounts team will speak to each student individually. All our courses are eligible for the LES funding of up to €500; if you are entitled then this is subtracted from your course price.
During your course you will have to attend both practical and theory classes according to your time table. . During the practical classes you will get the opportunity to perform your treatment on your class mates and gain valuable feedback from your tutor. The theory classes you will provide you with all the fascinating underpinning knowledge you will need to know in order to perform your treatment safely. At an advanced stage in your course, when you have mastered your treatments, you will be partaking in the student clinic days. On these days you will be able to perform your treatments on clients in a realistic working environment, under the supervision of your class tutor.
At every stage of your course you will have access to the state of the art CIBHT (VLE) Moodle student only area. This virtual learning environment has been designed to aid you in your studies and it has notes, diagrams, step by step training videos and tutor support access, assessment preparation questions and on line quizzes.!
This is really up to you! What time do you have to dedicate to studying for your new career; we have a course option for you:
• Full time course: Monday to Thursday
• Part time evening Monday & Wednesday 7pm-10pm
• Part time day: 1 Saturday per week 10am to 5pm
Modular study- this is when you only study one or two aspects of the Beauty Specialist Diploma at a time. This is becoming increasingly popular as it permits students budget their training expenses; allowing them to enter the work force sooner, whilst working towards their full Diploma.

There are no formal entry qualifications; we are looking for Passion not points. No leaving cert, no problem! You will have to attend an interview, and tell us why you are passionate about beauty and why you wish to study beauty therapy. We expect excellent attendance and punctuality throughout your course and that you complete all case studies and home assignments on time
Once you have achieved your VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty; you will be able to progress on to Indian Head massage, Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Diet & Nutrition, Reflexology as well as specialised Beauty courses like Threading, Advanced make up, Gel nails, Acrylic nails.
