About Complementery & Holistic Therapies
If you would like to begin a career in the extraordinary field of Holistic and Complementary Therapies then this is the course for you. Study full time and gain a huge amount of knowledge and experience in the powerful area of complementary healthcare and wellness. Gain clinic experience, working on real clients, as you train in the extraordinary surroundings of the CIBHT state of the art training facility complete with our 'open to the public' clinic.
This course will give you all of the skills and knowledge needed to make you a qualified and well rounded complementary therapist providing holistic treatments to your clients. A complementary therapist will work with a wide variety of clients with various ailments and conditions connected to either the body or the mind. Your treatments will work alongside their regular medical treatment thus complementing their healing nature.
Complementary therapists enjoy a rewarding and heartwarming career helping to bring health and vitality to a wide variety of clients. Over recent years these therapies have gained wider recognition and acceptance among orthodox medical practitioners and many therapists go on to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in hospitals, hospices, nursing care centres and cancer support centres. Complementary therapies have been used in the workplace to enhance employee wellbeing, reduce stress and bring about an overall increase in productivity.
At CIBHT we only employee highly qualified, experienced and capable tutors to teach their specialist subjects. Our tutors have worked in a wide variety of settings and all are still practicing their therapies - some continue to run their own clinic outside of their teaching hours. All of our tutors have also taken extensive professional training in other subjects related to their profession and keep up to date with continuing trends, therapies and treatments.
