The Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy treatment is an excellent add-on to your aesthetic beauty clinic. It is becoming an increasingly popular treatment to improve the texture of the skin, create better skin tone, firm the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and to add volume beneath the skin.
This treatment is cost effective as it incurs very little outlays, making it a very lucrative procedure for your aesthetic beauty business.
Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP is used in many medical treatments but has only recently been introduced into aesthetic treatments. PRP is extracted from the client’s own blood by being spun in a centrifuge.
Once the skin has been opened up using the dermal rolling technique the PRP is reintroduced to the client’s body. Then the bodies own growth factors help the skin to repair and rejuvenate itself. It is also an effective treatment for dark circles under the eyes and the reduction of fine lines.
This course will cover Phlebotomy (taking blood) centrifuging the blood to extract the PRP and Derma rolling techniques for application of plasma.
