If you are looking to train in a recognized beauty course, in Dublin, then our award-winning training centre may just be the right choice for you. Beauty Therapy training includes Dermalogica Facial, Eye Treatments, Waxing, Manicure & Pedicure and Make up.

All students will be trained in the Dermalogica professional range of skin care products. As part of the Partnership Programme with Dermalogica, students also receive additional specialised product training with an appointed Dermalogica representative. During this course all students will be able to practice their skills at the Churchtown Institute student clinic days. All beauty students will have a chance of becoming our Dermalogica Student of the Year which will be announced at the cap and gown Graduation ceremony!

• Anatomy & Physiology - Study of the body’s main systems as they relate to specific beauty specialist techniques. 
• Facial Skin Care
  • Skin analysis
  • Cleansing, toning & moisturizing
  • Face masks & exfoliating techniques
  • Face & neck massage
  • Cosmetic science & Dermalogica product knowledge
• Eyelash & Brow treatments: Tweezing and shaping the eyebrows, Tinting the eyebrows, Tinting the eyelashes
• Waxing Techniques: Warm & hot waxing treatments, Eyebrow wax, Upper lip wax, Chin wax, Full leg wax, Half leg wax, Bikini line wax & Underarm wax
• Manicure & Pedicure Treatments: Provide manicure & pedicure treatments, Specialised treatments, hot oil, paraffin wax, and French polish
• Make up treatments: Make-up services, The art of make-up application for day, evening and special occasion’s, Apply individual & strip false lashes
• Client Care & Communication in Beauty Related Industies: Here you will learn to develop your communication skills, Deal with enquiries, retail, consultation, complaints and all forms of client care.
• Health & Safety Practise in the Salon: Develop your awareness of the risks in the workplace, knowing how to identify them and take responsibility to deal with them- Covid 19 Protocols

Cost:

Course Investment €2500. Plus Exam fees of €150 with additional kit costs approx (€250)

A €500 booking deposit is required to secure your place on this course.

This course is approved for LES and TESG funding of up to €500, if you are entitled.
